Hi friends! Welcome to another installment of Happy Hour for Your Home 🥂 So, you might have already seen some of these photos on Instagram, but I wanted to give you a little peek behind the curtain of our process in creating this amazing space.  I absolutely loved creating this room for a busy mom of 5 who wanted (and deserved) a space just for her. No kids and no husbands allowed.  She wanted a bright, bold, fabulous, PINK oasis to enjoy a glass or three of champagne after a long day or with her friends on the weekend.  We immediately dubbed this space the “champagne room”.  tips
We immediately dubbed this space the “champagne room”.  tips

Tip #1 - Main Spirit

The Art.

Sometimes art is an accent.  Sometimes it is the star of the show.  Two fabulous pieces by Ashley Longshore were the primary design inspiration for this space.  Ashley’s art is confident, aggressively feminine, and sometimes a little racy in all of the right ways and that is exactly what we wanted out this room to be!  Ashely just opened a studio and gallery in SOHO, so next time you are in NYC check it out!

Tip #2 - Mixers

Lets get tipsi

We had to use tipsi in the champagne room, right?  I was so excited to use a fabric from my own textile line, tipsi, in the gorgeous space. Here we used “Parade” in the Magenta color way. The colors were perfect for our ultra feminine, glam design scheme and the clean lines pair perfectly with the busy wallpaper.

Tip #3 - Garnish

Furnishings.

When it came to furnishing the space, one thing was for sure- she wanted pink chairs and she wanted them to swivel!  Swivel seating is great, because it allows for some or all of a seating area to open to the whole room when entertaining a larger group.  We added fringe to these gorgeous society social pink velvet chairs and they fit the room perfectly!  Finally, the custom credenza by the resplendent crow lacquered in bright green pulled the whole thing together and provided a perfect balance to all of the pink.
