Hi friends 👋 Sorry it's been a minute. We've been a little busy with our space at the Southeastern Showhouse! This project has been such a joy to work on (except the part where everything was out of stock, but what's new?) I am so excited to finally share some of the details with y'all & provide a little inspiration for your next passion project.

Tip #1 - Main Spirit
Keep dreamin'.
If you have something that excites you or a place you’ve always dreamed of living, don’t hold back! I've always been a huge fan of Palm Beach style— upscale beachy vibes with plenty of color. When I decided that was my inspo for this room, I ran with it! Small transitional spaces like mudrooms are the perfect place to dream big & pull out all the stops.
Tip #2 - Mixers
“Thanks, it's custom.”
After spending hours (days, weeks?) searching for a mirror that was funky, pink, & not on backorder, we decided to just paint one ourselves! This mirror started off a dark grey color, but we transformed it into a shiny blush gem that’s become an icon of the space. If you feel like you know exactly what piece a room needs, I say follow your instincts & make it happen— supply chain be damned!
Tip #3 - Garnish
The art of layering.
Pairing art & wallpaper is tricky, especially when dealing with lots of color & pattern. My advice: pick the wallpaper first, and don’t get hung up on every single color in the art matching with something in the room. Try to look at the piece as a whole & decide if the overall tone works with your wallpaper.
